"I wanted to let go, but hold enough of me to evolve and recognise myself as a mum" Ané

Temple Spa Shop

Self-Care

When, "I'm a mum"?

One thing I promised myself, was not to let myself go so much, that I would not be able to find or recognise myself a year or two after having my child. I wanted to be able to let go, but still have enough of the essence of who I was/am, to evolve with motherhood. Therefore, I chose a few `pick me ups`, to tend to who I am as a woman and an evolving mum. These can be anything for you because we are all `wired differently`...

I have alwasy been a wash and go girl! But since becoming a mum I have found  time out, I found a nice face mask and spa routine that  tended to my soul and showed the benefits on my skin!

The photo to the side is one of our 3 hour journey's down south in the summer with my little one asleep in the back and my mum was with us too. We both had a spa treatment in the car with warm flannels the lot! I had to carve out some time, it was a hectic week and I was determined to celebrate my birthday! The tiredness and blandness was wiped away and I "topped" up myself again! Other times I used it as Ia prayed and had my devotional time. There is something really releasing about doing something in the physical that is connected to spiritual prayer. The physical reflection of the spiritual makes it real in an instant!

With the purchase of a Session Style, you will receive a Temple Spa self care Pack. These are used for a quick face wash or spa routine if you prefer. I touch on appearances, because it is often the first place we avoid looking, sometimes because we do not want to face what we look like, or we don’t recognise who we see, or because it just feels like `more work` to look after ourselves.

Washing your face with a little one, suddenly changes from self-care to waking yourself up. But if you can re-claim the ordinary, it will keep you one step ahead and in good standing with yourself! Suddenly, although you feel a bit tired, you still recognise yourself and can appreciate the transformation into the depths of motherhood, rather than resent and dread it!

My husband loved the fact that he didn't have to worry about what to get me. In the future he knows where to go.

Another bonus, Temple Spa is found on Christian Roots, looking after your body which is a temple. They also support wonderful charities, including one that supports mums who have had miscarriages.

I don't have to sell it, the product sells itself, I'm simply supporting you in your Crowing Journey of Motherhood by making it available. Perhaps I'm even helping our husband find you a gift! Either way, start the way you want to continue! Prevention is always better than cure!
